The deck that won Worlds costs $40.39 in singles, and the win did not change that. Andrew Hedrick's list was $41.60 the day before the final and $40.39 five days after, even though the Dragapult-specific cards in it sold 97% more copies a day once he lifted the trophy. Yes, the whole championship deck is about forty dollars, and a third of that is one card. It was $48.96 two weeks before the event, $41.60 the day before, $43.41 on finals day, and $40.39 on September 4. If you were waiting for the post-Worlds dip to buy in, the dip already happened.
What this means for you
Buy the list now. Nothing in it spiked, the one expensive card is already back near its pre-event price, and it is the most played deck in the format for a reason. The copy button above gives you the PTCGL import.
You did not miss anything. The playable Dragapult ex fell after the win, the $107 alt art did not move, and the only riser was the small-supply Prize Pack printing (+14%). Watch scarce cards around big events, not the deck's staples.
A Worlds win is a volume event, not a price event. Have the deck's one-ofs and tech cards (Rosa's Encouragement, Dudunsparce, Budew, Special Red Card) listed at market and let the doubled traffic come to you. Do not raise prices on commons into it.
What happened at Worlds
The 2026 World Championships ran August 28-30 in San Francisco with 797 players in Masters. Dragapult was the consensus best deck going in and the most successful coming out: 42 of the 143 lists that reached Day 2 (the second day, when the field is cut to the top performers), 29% of the field, and three of the top four finishes. Standings and lists are on Limitless. That matters for the price question: when a rogue deck wins, nobody owns the cards and the market has to find them. When the consensus deck wins, the people who would buy it already did. I pulled every card in the list from our nightly price snapshots and from TCGplayer's sales history to see how much of that intuition holds.
Sales volume: the deck sold more, the prices did not care
Across all 21 cards, TCGplayer moved about 2,461 copies a day in the two weeks before Worlds, dipped to 2,306 a day during the event itself (people were watching, not shopping), then jumped to 3,012 a day in the four days after the final. That is 22% more units for the same list, and it started the day after Hedrick won.
The split by card type is the interesting bit. The universal staples that every deck runs (Lillie's Determination, Boss's Orders, Ultra Ball, Night Stretcher, Poke Pad, Buddy-Buddy Poffin, Crispin) went from 1,721 to 1,908 units a day, +11%. Worlds did not change how many decks need an Ultra Ball. The Dragapult-specific pieces (the Dreepy line, Munkidori, Budew, the Dunsparce line, Rosa's Encouragement) went from 252 to 498 units a day, +97%. That is netdecking (players copying the winning list card for card), and it is unmistakable.
- Dudunsparce (Temporal Forces 129/162): 32 to 108 copies a day, +237%. Price: $1.08 to $0.91. Three times the sales, and the price went down.
- Dragapult ex 130/167: 28 to 69 copies a day, +143%. Price: $2.70 to $1.94, -28%.
- Rosa's Encouragement, the one-of supporter most people had to add: 21 to 50 a day, +138%, at sixteen cents either way.
- Dunsparce (Journey Together 120/159): 79 to 133 a day, +68%, and the price did move, $1.77 to $2.38 (+34%). More on that below.

Dragapult ex: more sales, lower price
Buy on TCGplayerThe headline card is the clearest case. The playable Double Rare from Twilight Masquerade sold 143% more copies a day after the win and lost 28% of its price doing it, $2.70 to $1.94. When volume more than doubles and price falls, sellers are listing into the attention faster than buyers are clearing them. Twilight Masquerade was opened in enormous quantity in 2024 and again through 2025, so every store has a stack. A Worlds win does not thin a stack like that.
It was already sliding before the event: $4.23 on August 14, $2.70 on the 27th. Part of that is the Ascended Heroes Dragapult ex (a different card, but a fresh $1.30 Double Rare with the same name splitting search traffic).

The $107 Special Illustration Rare from Prismatic Evolutions did not blink. The $13 Ultra Rare chase dipped on finals day and recovered to where it started. The only printing that rose is the Prize Pack Series copy, +14%, and that is the one with a genuinely small supply (Prize Pack cards only come out of the packs handed out at league play, not from booster boxes). Same card, five printings, and the price response lines up with supply, not with the trophy.
Unfair Stamp: the one card that traded like an event
Unfair Stamp is the list's ACE SPEC (a card type limited to one copy per deck and printed at roughly one per booster box, which is why ACE SPECs carry the highest prices among trainers). It was already the most expensive card in the format at $13.92 two weeks out. It ran to $16.05 on finals day, a +10% move in three days, then whipsawed after the event: $13.34 on August 31, $18.50 on September 1, $13.76 the next day, $16.48 the day after, and $14.48 by September 4. That is what a market price looks like when a handful of listings set it. Sales volume went 36 to 45 a day, +23%. A supply-constrained card does this when attention arrives: sharp moves on thin listings, then a slow settle as sellers reprice against each other. It is the only card in the list where the Worlds week changed the price you would pay, and even here the September 4 price is within a dollar of the pre-event level.
Buy on TCGplayerDunsparce and Dudunsparce: same line, opposite prices
Buy on TCGplayerBuy on TCGplayerThis pair is the best illustration of the supply rule inside one evolution line. Both saw a demand surge after the final. Dunsparce from Journey Together is a common that was already trading at $1.77 because it has been a staple since the set released, and Journey Together is not being opened the way Twilight Masquerade was. It went to $2.38, +34%, on 68% more daily sales. Its evolution, Dudunsparce from Temporal Forces, tripled its daily sales and still fell 16%, because there is a Prize Pack reprint, a deck-exclusive non-holo, and a Prismatic Evolutions printing all competing for the same buyer.
When this reasoning fails
When the winner is a deck nobody was playing, or when a key card comes from a set that is out of print, the market has to find copies and prices move first. Neither was true here: Dragapult was 29% of Day 2 and every card in it is in print. The window to profit from this event, if there was one, was the days before the final and only on the scarce pieces. By the time the trophy was lifted, the Unfair Stamp spike was already the top. We will run the same numbers on the next surprise winner, and I expect a different chart.
