Finance Audit
$999
USD, once
The four parts, one time, for the exports you send. This is the entry offer.
Example Card Co.
Example Card Co. is made up. This is the layout of the report, not a shop's results.
| Part | What the page shows |
|---|---|
| Profit and loss | Sales, fees and what is left. |
| Inventory at market | From your own valuation, or from your TCGplayer export. |
| Margin by channel | TCGplayer, eBay, Whatnot and in-store. |
| US sales tax check | A check of the exports. Not a filing, and not what you owe. |
For US card shops and live sellers
We do not do your books. We make your numbers make sense.
A finance service for Pokémon and TCG card shops and live sellers in the United States. You send the exports. We turn them into a report you can read.
US only at launch. The sample file is not on the site yet. The link is where it will live, at /finance-back-office/sample-audit.pdf.
The problem
Each channel keeps its own export. Fees, the cost of the cards, and sales tax sit in different files. You can know the sales and still not know what you kept.

Sample report
The sample audit uses Example Card Co. Example Card Co. is made up, so the layout is clear and none of the figures are a real shop.

Who it's for
A US card shop
You sell in the store and on TCGplayer, eBay or Whatnot, and the profit is split across those exports.
A live seller
You sell on Whatnot, and you also sell on TCGplayer, eBay or in person.
A Blueprint reader
You want the numbers done with you, alongside the book you can work through yourself.
Not for shops outside the US, at launch. Not a bookkeeping service. We do not do your books. We make your numbers make sense.

The suite
The Pokémon Card Business Blueprint is the book you work through yourself. The Finance Back Office is the report we build with you from your exports.

Who you work with
Will wrote the Pokémon Card Business Blueprint and runs The Lab TCG. The Finance Back Office is the hands-on half of that same work.

Your data may be used, anonymised and aggregated with at least 10 other shops, to build benchmarks that we may sell or license. Your own figures, name and customer details are never sold.
Finance Back Office terms and Finance Back Office privacy. Both pages are drafts and will be replaced.
No. We do not do your books. We make your numbers make sense. You keep your accountant, your bookkeeper, or your own books. We read the exports you send.
The Finance Audit is $999 once. The Monthly Finance Pack is $100/month. Both cover a profit and loss, inventory valued at market from your own valuation or your TCGplayer export, margin by channel across TCGplayer, eBay, Whatnot and in-store, and a US sales tax check. The audit is one pass. The pack repeats it each month.
US card shops and live sellers, at launch. If you sell from outside the United States, this offer is not open yet.
A TCGplayer sales export, a TCGplayer inventory export, an eBay orders report, Whatnot sales, an in-store POS export, and bank statements. The thank-you page lists them again. If one export is missing, that part of the report is thinner and we say so.
No. It is a read of your numbers. It is not legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. The US sales tax check does not file a return and does not tell you what you owe.
Your data may be used, anonymised and aggregated with at least 10 other shops, to build benchmarks that we may sell or license. Your own figures, name and customer details are never sold. The terms and the privacy page say the same thing. Both pages are drafts and will be replaced.
After you pay, the thank-you page is where that link will be. We will email you within one working day to book your kickoff call.
