Terms of Service

1. The Service

The Lab TCG provides trading-card market data, price history, analytics, signals, reports, alerts, and portfolio-tracking tools. The Service is informational only. It is not financial advice and no output of the Service is a recommendation to buy or sell anything — see our Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans (e.g. "Collector") are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice; changes apply at your next renewal. You can cancel at any time from your account page — you keep paid access until the end of the current billing period, after which your account moves to the free tier. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; if the Service materially fails to deliver updated data for an extended period, contact us and we will make it right with a credit or refund at our discretion.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the Service;
• resell, redistribute, or republish Service data without our written consent;
• probe, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• use the Service to violate any law or third-party right; or
• share one account across multiple people or automate access without an API plan.

5. Data & intellectual property

The Service's analytics, signals, indices, reports, software, and design are owned by The Lab TCG or its licensors. Underlying market data is aggregated from third-party sources; card names, images, and marks belong to their respective owners. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own collecting and research. Your portfolio data remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to store and process it to run the Service.

6. Availability & changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) at any time. Data refreshes run on a schedule and can be delayed; when data is materially stale we aim to say so in the product. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Lab TCG will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or trading/collecting losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 5–9 survive termination.

9. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions: thelabtcg@gmail.com.
